Lent Term Final Week

We have reached the final lectures and activities of the term! 🎉 What a journey it has been with our brilliant first-year cohort during the Fundamentals of Engineering Science Module and second-year Chemical Engineering Students during Chemical Engineering Laboratory Projects Module at the School of Engineering at Lancaster University.

I would like to thank my students for their commitment to the Monday 9 AM lectures 😄 We also concluded the laboratory sessions last week and the first photo is from today's final lecture on Heat Transfer. I wish them well and success in their exams and looking forward to seeing them around! Sorry about the weird expression on my face trying to get everyone in the photo...

The second photo was taken right after their final presentations. This has been a long journey started at the beginning of Michaelmas term last year. They experimented with a range of lab scale unit operations equipment, practiced their team work through technical presentations and report writing. I am looking forward to meeting them again next year for their Chemical Process Design Project Module. This time, they will work on designing a chemical process plant from scratch. I would like to thank Giuseppe Bagnato for co-delivering this module with me.
